UVA - Charlottesville, VA

I matched into Anesthesiology at UVA. Needless to say, we're both very excited about the match as I'll train at an excellent program in a great location. Katie is also ecstatic as this will likely be our only opportunity to live outside of NC for a lengthy period of time, and she loves Charlottesville! We'll start the house hunt, look forward to the move, and look even more forward to friends and family coming to visit!

Also, we're heading to Raleigh this weekend to checkout the Cardinal Club. We're strongly considering that as the place for our reception, but we wanted to take a look first and discuss some of the details with their wedding coordinator. I tried to load some pictures from their website, but they use flashplayer so I was unable. But, it looks like a really nice place and here's a link to their website...

So, we're also trying to contact some DJs for scheduling. We're hoping that will be worked out in the next week or so. We'll also start thinking about places for the reception dinner. We've thought that Cafe Luna would be a nice place (we also thought it would've been nice for the reception) so we might give them a call. But, hopefully we'll get some more details ironed out soon.

In other news, we were "buyer-ready" approved on Friday for a home loan. We locked in a rate, so now it seems all we have to do is actually find a home! Of course, we'll start working on that after March 19th, when we find out where we'll be for the next 4 years. We hope you all are doing well and hope to see you soon!
