So I'm realizing how hard it actually is to keep a blog/journal updated for family and friends. I've never been one to journal or write down my thoughts regularly, so this is tough for me.
Anyway, with regards to the wedding things are moving along nice and steady. Katie has put in a lot of work in the past few weeks and I've been supporting her putting in that work. Ha.
While I'm sure I'm being repetitive with things here's an update on the details of our wedding so far:
Ceremony - St. Mary's Chapel in Raleigh, NC
Hotel for wedding party - still need to schedule this
Reception - Marble Kid's Museum in Raleigh
Rehearsal dinner - Michael Dean's in Raleigh (still need to work out the dinner menu...I'll probably work on this next week)
Invitations/Save-the-Dates - Katie and I are currently choosing what we like best.
Pictures - we're getting engagement photos taken in early June. Kevin Milz will be our photographer and you can see some of his work here.
In other news, I graduated from medical school this past week. That's definitely been a long time coming. I'm excited to finish up and enjoy a little downtime before I start at UVA on June 16th.
We heard today from our mortgage lender that we're approved for enough to put in a reasonable offer on a home that we both like a lot. We'll see what happens with that. I'll keep you all updated.
